NEW BABY COLTS

We take great pride and joy from the new colts we have each year and also look forward to sharing them with you!

This year we are pleased to present Ruby who is from Spirit and Doc Holiday who is from Shy Ann.  Both were born in late April and are doing very well!

Spirit and her adorable filly Ruby Ruby is very inquisitive!

Spirit Loves Her Baby!                      Ruby already likes to play!                She is a sweet girl

Ruby is very adventurous and wanders far from her mom's side exploring and playing.  She is the older baby and you can sure tell she thinks she is in charge!

First time mommy, Shy Ann poses with her new stud colt Doc Holiday  A Beautiful Boy!  He is a bit shy still!

ShyAnn is a first time mommy!      Doc is a beautiful stud colt              And he is still a bit shy!

Doc on the other hand likes to stay close to Shy Ann but in a few weeks we think it will be a different story!

We are so excited to have these two beautiful additions to our herd and hope that you will come to see them soon!

THE HISTORIC PINES RANCH/WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY HORSE RESCUE SERVICES

We are happy to introduce three new horses to you!  These horses were donated to us through our rescue services and we welcome them to the Pines Ranch!

They are in good shape but their owner was no longer able to care for them and wanted them to have a good home.  All are in their 20's.

We received Jake, Paula and Taco in March of 2009

People That Touch Our Hearts

A little over a year ago it was our pleasure to meet Ian Swarr and his family!  Ian was sent to us from the Make a Wish Foundation for his wish because he always wanted to be a cowboy.  Ian rode horses, he fished, played on our 4-wheeler, helped our cook, staged a birthday party for one of our staff members, roasted marshmallows and had the time of his life!

Ian suffers from a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa which is a devastating and rare genetic skin disorder.

He has touched our hearts here at the Pines Ranch with his bravery and gentle spirit.  We would like to help Ian and his family return for another vacation.  Your interest, questions and support are welcomed!

Come on out to the Historic Pines Ranch for fabulous 2-6 night stay package. Mention Ian or his mom Delicia and a portion of your package rate will be donated to our "Ian Swarr and Family Vacation Fund" We are raising money not only for their stay with us but also for their airfare transportation. Proceeds in excess of the allotted amount for their vacation and travel will be donated to The Make A Wish Foundation. Please assist this special family who suffers with the devastation of EB to have another wonderful family vacation together!
