The Pines Ranch is nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This mountain range is the tallest, longest, contiguous mountain range on planet Earth! The sun shines 335 days a year over its snow capped peaks, and there is plenty of room to ride, relax and explore.

Mountain lodging and accommodations at the Pines Ranch are comfortable, private modern-rustic cabins connected by paths around the property. Each cabin has a private bath. Horseback riding is the centerpiece of your vacation at the Pines Ranch. Our expert wranglers will match you up with a horse right away. You will learn how to ride or have the opportunity to improve your riding skills all week with advanced lessons offered at no charge. Our horse training and riding program is one of the best in the state of Colorado. You will have the chance to trail ride, participate in rodeo sports and end of the week guest rodeo, learn to team pen cattle and much more! There are lots of activities to choose from at the Pines Ranch aside from the riding program. High mountain picnics, country swing dance lessons, campfire sing-a-longs, hiking, trail riding, fly-fishing in the Colorado wilderness, special teen and children’s programs and more, are all a part of your adventure travel vacation at the Pines Ranch. Seasonal white-water rafting trips are available at an additional cost.

make their Colorado ranch stay as relaxing or adventurous
as they like. After riding the range or chasing cattle during
the week many of our guests enjoy a hot tub or sauna, take
a relaxing swim in the indoor pool, or choose to read a good
book on a cabin porch or simply watch the sky walk the earth
with the herd of horses grazing in the pasture below. |
